Arc de Soleil en Barcelona

Although Arc de Soleil's discography is still short, entering it is like opening a world map. The group's mastermind, guitarist Daniel Kadawatha, was born in Sri Lanka and raised in Sweden, but at times Arc de Soleil sound like they came from the Sahara. Others, from Thailand, Andalusia, Texas or Jamaica. Or from India. Or from Jamaica. Or from Türkiye. The groove that runs through his psych-funk from top to bottom is absolutely nomadic: his first and only album to date, Lumin Rain, updates the definition of world music while placing Kadawatha and his band in the league of other sound travelers such as Khruangbin, Glass Beams or BALTHVS.

Arc de Soleil They will perform for the first time in Barcelona and Madrid next fall guided by Kadawatha's love for his favorite instrument, inherited directly from his father. They will present Lumin Rain on November 24 at Sala Apolo and on November 25 at Sala BUT.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24 - BARCELONA (SALA APOLO)
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25 - MADRID (SALA BUT)
