We will complete the cycle of a prominent architect Michal Maximilián Scheer June lecture, which will be accompanied again by culturologist Juraj Novák with his colleague, art historian Richard E. Pročko.
The third lecture will bring the less discussed period II. World War II and post -war years in the life and work of architect Michal Maximilian Scheer. In sharp contrast to the golden interwar time, it first brought restrictions, concerns, difficult life situations and unimaginable permanent pain. Despite everything, the resilient creator, as far as he could, signed a number of projects, implementations, and in post -war Žilina he again headed back to the head of the architectural scene.
The lecture will also be dedicated to the specific industry of the work of the architect - designing interior equipment, design of furniture and home accessories, in which Michal Maximilián Scheer did not even lag behind the architectural work itself. Nevertheless, this area of his work is almost unknown today. Ing. Mgr. Ľuba Stach and prof. Mgr. Milota Havránková. In 2018 led by prof. PhDr. Ladislav Lenovsky, PhD., And prof. PhDr. Julius Fujak, PhD., Successfully defended the dissertation work of the Nitra cultural heritage and its use at the Department of Culture of the Faculty of Arts of the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. In the past, he was teaching first at the Department of Mass Media Communication and Advertising and subsequently at the Department of Culturology of the Faculty of Arts of the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. At the same time, he repeatedly worked as a teacher of the art department at the Elementary Art School of Jozef Rosinský in Nitra. At present, he is intensively dealing with the issue of the cultural heritage of Nitra and its surroundings as a culturalologist. He is a co -founder of the Civic Association of Nitra Cultural Heritage and author of the Bartfay project between us. PhDr. Ivan Gerat, PhD. Anton Pustovník in Dravce - iconographic, ideological and historical contexts. Since 2015 he has been an employee of the Monuments Board of the Slovak Republic and has been working at the Regional Monuments Board of Nitra as an expert counselor. In 2019 - 2020 he was an assistant professor at the Department of History and Theory of Art of the Philosophical Faculty of Trnava University in Trnava, before he also worked externally as a professional assistant at the Department of Design of Furniture and Interior of the Faculty of Woodworking of the Technical University in Zvolen. In professional life, it focuses primarily on sacral architecture and fine arts, as well as modern architecture, sculpture and design of the 20th century. He is a co -founder of the civic association Nitra cultural heritage. of.
