About event
Go on an architectural walk with landscape architect Štěpán Špoula. The event is completely free to the public.
In the early evening, you can look forward to a lecture with a walk focusing on reading the cultural landscape in this part of the city. It will touch the values of landscape, fauna and flora in interaction with man. It will also focus on historical biotopes, newly formed parts of the landscape associated with flood activity of the river or on landscape changes initiated by man. In addition, the extremely valuable area of the slopes of the northern terrace has an exceptional position in the context of the city.
The territory of Prague's Pelc-Tyrolka has long been reserved for the development of educational and recreational functions of the city. Two faculties of Charles University and a college dormitory with more than 1,400 residents are located in its center. A territorial study is currently being prepared on the territory by the UNIT architects studio, who will be present for questions and discussions. The aim of the territorial study is to give the entire area from Bílá skála to Troja a new accent, functions and civic amenities while simultaneously protecting valuable biotopes near the river, the slopes of the northern terrace of the city and large areas of the former Holešovice island.
The meeting point for those interested is at the Trojská tram stop. Link to the exact location here: https://mapy.cz/s/bobojaguma
