About event
We invite you to a non-traditional discussion evening in the pleasant surroundings of Art-n-Coffee in Prague 1.
The phenomenon of blue zones, made famous by Dan Buettner, is not limited to longevity research today. It is gradually turning into concrete projects and initiatives all over the world — and is starting to appear in the Czech Republic as well.
Let's see what's behind it. What new opportunities for development and investment arise here?
---
In 2023, the documentary How to live to be 100 – The Secret of Blue Zones was released (you can watch it on Netflix). It shows how the environment affects the length and quality of life. Based on this research, places and cities are starting to emerge in the world that want to artificially introduce the principles of longevity so that health is simply the easiest choice for people.
An example is the American city of Albert Lea or the Kampung Admiralty housing complex in Singapore, which combine housing, community life, healthcare and much more into one whole.
In the Czech Republic, the city of Třebíč applied for longevity zones, and in April, E15 published an analysis of longevity zones within the Czech Republic.
👉 Is it possible for something similar to arise in the Czech Republic?
👉 How can the principles of longevity and well-being be projected into specific development projects?
👉 And can this also create new opportunities for the Venture Club?
The evening was prepared by our long-time member @Yasmin Žitníková in collaboration with other guests.
The event was created in cooperation with Podnikám Česky clubs.
