About event
Three dedicated authors, three views of a complicated and highly emotional theme of Gaza. Pharmacist Stanislav Havlíček is a veteran of foreign missions of doctors without borders and wrote a highly personal book of heaven full of dragons about his stay in war Gaza. Former journalist, coach and marketer David Shorf shared his memories in the book I served in Gaza, where he reveals the situation in the Israeli army and society. Reporter of Czech Television and writer Jakub Szántó completes the trio with the first Czech monograph on Gaza's history interwoven with reportage motifs between millstones: Gaza and her story.
So what is the story of Gaza? What past and what future? Who are its inhabitants and why are they undergoing suffering that far exceeds the horrors of previous conflicts of modern Gazan history? Havlíček, Shorf and Szántó will offer dedicated views based on decades of experience, contacts and studies and try to bring the facts, contexts and views into the emotionally whipped debates.
The program will be done by Nikola Tenevová.
