Argo: Ondřej Štindl - Jednou to bude tvoje

The title of the new novel Ondřej Štindl contains a message that is straightforward and clear only seemingly. Who and to whom does it tell? Who share something with? Who and to whom does it pass on something? Is it a gift or a burden? The main character of the book Luka, a young man from today's Prague, gets from the questions to ask for the most basic. As we are accustomed to from the previous author's prose, the existential questions are not asked and opened in a spectacularly “heavy -duty” form. On the contrary: the reader awaits a sophisticated graded story that will not let him exhale and intertwine grotesque, sadness, desire, sarcasm, despair and muted hope, everything that belongs to this type of interrogation and often in vain search. DJ. Four novels have been published at Argo publishing house: Mondschein (2012), to the border (2016), when your head (2020) and so much ash (2022) are turned. The book will be spoken by a literary publicist and poet Libor Staněk II; The musical accompaniment will be taken care of by Jan Majer (Grant Havoc, La Prospérité, Painless, Nusle Sound System, etc.). Free admission.
