About event
🏠 The fourth and at the same time the last concert of the autumn part of the chamber music festival in the Domus & Hortus Artis 2025 house and garden of the Albrecht House ☘️
🎵 During the twenty-five years since the founding of the Société Nationale de Musique Français (1871), Fauré quietly developed in his own way and led it to the point where the French musical renaissance in the sense of rebirth became a reality. National consciousness was present in Debussy, d'Indy, Ravel and Fauré in very different proportions and in different periods of their development. Nevertheless, in 1895 music was flourishing in France; such a rich and varied domestic cultural growth has not been seen here since the times of the French Baroque. In the same year, he began his studies in Paris with Fauré George Enescu. Pablo Casals called him the greatest musical revelation since Mozart. Enesco Piano Quartet No. 2 is dedicated to his teacher Gabriel Fauré.
