Also in 2024, we invite you to experience the atmosphere of the Art & Tech Conference with unique networking and top speakers.
World-awarded speakers will give lectures inspired by the theme of the eighth Art & Tech Days festival: PERIPHERY.
Already on November 21 in the Košice Barracks/Kulturpark, we will discover together how art and technology meet on the periphery, where they create sustainable future, challenge common norms and inspire empathy and inclusivity.
Our carefully selected speakers will offer innovative perspectives on how ideas emerging on the periphery can help solve global challenges of climate change or social inequalities.
On stage this year will be:
⇢ Winy Maas – one of the most influential architects of today, urban planner and visionary of cities of the future, founder of the architectural studio MVRDV
⇢ Mitchell Joachim – bio-design pioneer, renowned architect and co-founder of non-profit art, architecture and urban design research group Terreform ONE
⇢ Nahum Romero Zamora – artist, space culture expert, founder of KOSMICA Institute
⇢ Barbora Maronkova – international communication expert, analyst political, social and media affairs
⇢ Benjamin James – architect with a focus on the intersection of generative design and new technologies, founder of Atlas
⇢ Regina Loukotová – architect and rector of ARCHIP, the first of a private architectural school with teaching in English in Prague
We will end the conference with the opening of the exhibition DISCARDED SOUND /Leon van Oldenbourgh and Robert Rampáček/ and the exhibition City to City /Jakub Pišek and Anni Kinnunen/ with reference to the title of the city of Košice - UNESCO Creative City of Media Art.
