About event
Dear colleagues and dear colleagues,
We cordially invite you to a constitutional seminar called "Artificial Intelligence, Social Media, and the Politics of Anti-Technology". Dr. Ján Žilinský (Technical University in Munich) will present his article, co -author of which is Thomas Zeitzoff (American University). The authors are engaged in the rapid advent of new communication technologies, an accelerated rise in artificial intelligence, which caused a discussion of their social impact - from supporting the polarization and disinformation to facilitating collective action. In order to explore the poorly examined public attitudes to technology, the authors have developed a new range of measuring resistance to technologies that cover attitudes to social networks and artificial intelligence, and concerns about modernity. The seminar will introduce the results of surveys conducted in Slovakia and in ten other countries, with a special focus on perceived damage caused by social networks.
The seminar will be in English.
