About event
We cordially invite you to Artist Talk artist Zlata Ziborová, who is the current resident Brno Artists in Residence in the house of the Lords of Kunštát.
//
Zlata Ziborova is a Prague intermediate artist, graduate of the New Media 2 studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. During her studies she was on the internships at the Royal Academy in Antwerp, in the visiting studio AVU and UMPRUM. It deals with ecofeministic and posthumanistic theory, queer ecology and intermediate relationships.
Her artistic practice is on the border of personal experience and collective narrative, trying to transform traditional views of the body and its role in art and society. In his installations and performances he works with organic waste, cooperates with bacteria, yeast and animals and uses the materials produced by his own body. It combines the topics of production, sustainability and intimacy, with biological materials transforming into poetic reflections of relationships between the human and multi-human world.
She exhibited in Pragovka Gallery, Edel Extra in Nuremberg, Labirynt Gallery in Ljublin, Pop-up Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts, Studio, Museum and Gallery in Prostějov, World 1, Gallery Sam83 and others.
