About event
CANCELED DUE TO ILLNESS!
"Listen, dove, you're grown up, you don't need a man," says Aunt Güzin, a Turkish expert on love, sex and heartbreak. Her advice addresses a society in which inequality is deeply rooted. Between men and women. Between believers and unbelievers. Between city and village, past and present.
🌅
Some are unhappy because someone dictates how they should live. Others are unhappy because someone is taking away the lifestyle they are used to. Such inequality is difficult to overcome. And cynics who use conflicts for their own interests profit from the differences.
🌅
But how can everyone cope with a populist? With unemployment? With domestic violence? Even we in our "Western Europe" have not figured this out.
However, we still need to find answers to these questions.
🌅
A hypnotic statement about the fragility of democracy between a mosque and a disco, inspired by a reportage book by Witold Szablowski's Murderer from the City of Apricots.
🌅
the performance is 60 minutes long without an intermission
