WHAT DO I FEEL WHEN I TOUCH IT? WHAT DO I PERCEIVE IN MYSELF AND WHAT DO I PERCEIVE IN THE PERSON I TOUCH? WHAT RESPONSE DOES TOUCH INVITES ME TO?
The Touch Studio is a space for somatic exploration of bodily echoes to touch. In it, we invite you to the possibility of opening up to bodily listening to yourself and others. We believe that deepening our receptivity and embodiment leads to more respectful human contact.
Somatic research is based on aspects of human developmental movement patterns that establish principles for all our relationships with ourselves and the outside world.
THE TOPIC OF THE OCTOBER TOUCH ATELIER is one of the basic neurocellular movement patterns called
"SPONGING".
We will explore the possibilities of introducing movement invitations into touch contact with a partner through sponging. During sponging, we invite the fluid in the cell to travel to the extracellular environment, so that it then flows back into the cell through the membrane. Even our attention follows the constantly changing relationship between the membrane and the fluid.
What is it like to cross the border? And what kind of movement does this game invite us to with pulsation and wandering in and out?

What do I feel when I touch? What am I sensing in myself and what am I perceiving in the person I am touching? To what bodily response, touch or movement, I am invited by this touch?
