Next Sunday (December 15th) ATR returns to Desterro for an unmissable night that will feature performances by the Swiss musician d'incise, the Congolese-Belgian-Berlinian musician Cedrik Fermont and the Karelian-Lisbon musician Aleksey Tumakov and with a dj set by the ATR DJ collective Kafunfo noSoundsystem in b2b format with DJ Privilégio aka Diogo Oliveira (from the record label Rotten \ Fresh and GABBEROLAS and TictacticA)!
d'incise is a Swiss sound explorer who used to pretend not to play any specific musical instrument, using whatever could be considered as such: software, recordings, various objects, percussions, harmonium, etc. But more recently he has returned to focusing on analogue electronic sources, carefully sampling and reassembling them for his live performances. Interested in radicalism, reductionism, repetitions and conceptual approaches, he has sought to build specific configurations for each occasion and context in order to extract the smallest details from the elements, cultivating slowness and obsessive explorations of simple processes. On his return to Portugal he brings us “Incendies”, a new composition for slightly saturated signals and off-grid pulsations. (d'incise's solo tour is supported by Prohelvetia & Canton de Genève)

Of Congolese and Belgian origins and based in Berlin, Cedrik Fermont (also known as C-drík, Kirdec, Cdrk) is a composer, musician, mastering engineer, author , radio presenter, concert organizer and independent researcher who has worked in the field of noise and electronic and experimental music since 1989. As an artist he works solo and in numerous collaborative projects of the most diverse genres and sub-genres: from club music (industrial, breakcore , electro, acid, minimal wave) to harsh noise, electroacoustic music, free improvisation or soundtracks for choreography. He also mentors the record label Syrphe, which specializes in experimental music from Africa and Asia and beyond.

Natural from Karelia and currently residing in Lisbon, Aleksey Tumakov began his musical journey in ambient drone and after a decade began to develop its iterations in harsh noise. Without deliberately staying in the same state, sometimes your performances can evoke completely different sensations. Drawing inspiration from power electronics, primordial psychedelia, new age landscaping and harsh noise, Aleksey creates doom electronics with doors open to other expressions, like a meditation after a bulldozer accident.

Kafunfo noSoundsystem is yet another facet of the multifaceted Noise Therapeutic Association. Armed with record players, some lack of common sense and bad taste. they throw themselves into the needles in search of the old lost pearls and diamonds of the history of recorded music, trying along the way to surprise and terrify the most unsuspecting listeners, even those who don't like to dance

DJ Privilégio is a renowned DJ on the streets of Odivelas. He demonstrated an aptitude for the art of DJing from an early age when he invaded his primary school armed with his disc player and his father's JBL speakers during Carnival in 2002. Technology evolved and Diogo acquired his first MP3 player at the age of 13, something that elevated him to the level of star in the underground district DJ and made him indispensable within Pavilion A of Escola Secundária de Odivelas, especially on rainy days. His keen musical experience proved to be central to his future life, opening the doors to the creation of the Rotten \ Fresh collective, also being a cornerstone of the duo GABBEROLAS and TictacticA.
