🇵🇸🎨Aucation for Palestine
9. April | 19:00 | Gallery of the artist, Bratislava
At a time when Gaza is under continuous bombing, blockage and systematic destruction of civil infrastructure, we want to express solidarity by art and at the same time to help. We invite you to a beneficial auction for Palestine, whose proceeds will go to promote health care for a human -HIV kvír in Gaza. E.S. It faces not only war, but also the absolute collapse of the health system and lack of medicines and care, which is vital - more about his story in the article in Bio. By buying art, you can not only support Palestinian people, but also own an exceptional work that carries a political and human gesture. More information about specific works, authors and course of the auction can be found on the instagram profile auction. The auction will also be a special merch with various prints, posters or small snacks.
Before the auction at 17:00 there will be a discussion with a Prague team called Genocid for the Rainbow Flag, which will open the topic of the so -called. Pinkwashing - the way in which states and governments use Kvira symbolism and LGBTI's rights+ people to justify their own violence, colonialism or military aggression. We will talk about how the solidarity with the Kvira community cannot end with the rainbow flag - especially if the flag covers the occupation, apartheid and genoc! Du.
This event arises from the belief that the struggle for the liberation of Palestine and all people in the Middle East and the fight for people's rights are not contrary. On the contrary - both struggle against oppression systems that strengthen each other. We believe that our solidarity must be international and interspical.
for free Palestine. For a quvi of people everywhere in the world. For a world without occupation, apartheid and violence. ❤️
Admission is voluntary and you will be able to see the donated works in the form of a small exhibition from 8.4.
