About event

An exhibition that essentially focuses on the perceptions that deeply affect me. Whenever I find myself in nature, my heart opens up and my soul opens up to receive indescribable feelings of happiness. I try to capture these in my pictures, relive them through the artistic process and finally share them with the viewer. Consciously perceiving nature is my elementary source of inspiration, because for me it is full of wonders. I believe in their power of renewal and always humbly understand their (superior) will to live as the seasons and changing weather and living conditions change. From this I draw confidence and hope even in times of crisis. In my pictures I would like to express these feelings, invite the viewer to immerse themselves in seemingly everyday motifs, to discover magical moments and to become emotionally involved. Water, grass, trees, light - these elements are always important components of my pictures and an expression of my connection to the local natural landscape that surrounds me. Depending on the motif, I choose reduction and the means of abstraction to varying degrees in terms of its power and impact.
More detailed information about my working method and many other works can be found on my website www.beategebauer.de.

The exhibition can be seen in Café Tasso until March 24th.
