The Fliehenden (The Running Ones) is an initiative of the poster art platform Poster Kombinat, which uses artistic means to interpret the themes of escape from war, terror and political persecution. The project will be realized in the form of 10 video art films, 10 personal stories of people who were forced to leave their homes, and 20 poster works, some of which are interactive.
The participating artists of Poster Kombinat are: Anna Simeonoff, Georgi Georgiev-Arshata, Damyan Damyanov, Dimitar Traychev-Stalker, Ivan Kashlakov, Kamen Goranov, Kiril Zlatkov, Mario Ivanov, Marjan Dzin, Milena Vulnarova, Nadezhda Komitska, Nikolay Nachev, Nikolay Petrusenko, Petar Chuchuligov, Strahil Dimitrov-Radin, Teodor Liho. “The Running Ones” is produced by Anna Simeonoff and Daniel Nenchev.
As a parallel initiative of the project, the Arrest/Reward action was implemented, dedicated to Hristo Grozev – the Bulgarian investigative journalist persecuted by the Kremlin regime and participant in the Oscar-winning documentary “Navalny”.
The project was carried out with the financial support of the National Cultural Fund within the framework of the “Recovery and Development Program private cultural organizations".
