Autumn walk to see the Dicke Marie

We'll meet at the Aalemannufer bus stop (bus 136/x36) at 2pm, walk to the Havel and take [the ferry across to Tegelort](https://www.faehre-berlin.de/) (costs 80 cents). From there, we will follow the edge of the Tegelersee, make a stop to visit the [Dicke Marie](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dicke_Marie), the oldest tree in Berlin, and end our route in Tegel, where we can take the S-bahn or bus (133 to Haselhorst) back to Spandau. **Please remember to bring cash** **for the ferry!** The total distance we will walk is around 8km.

We meet at 2 p.m. at the Aalemannufer bus stop (bus 136/x36), go to the Havel and take the ferry to Tegelort (costs €0.80). We follow the shore of Lake Tegel, visit the Dicke Marie, the oldest tree in Berlin, and end our route in Tegel, where we can take the S-Bahn or bus (133 to Haselhorst) back to Spandau. **Please remember to bring cash for the ferry!** The walk is approximately 8km long in total.
