About event
Ave Maria, Festival of the Uncovering of the Sculpture of the Virgin Mary complemented by the literary-music band.
At the invitation of Jozef Zichy 1898 Viktor Napoleon visited the mansion in Voderady and during his visit was revealed on the balcony of the mansion and sanctified the statue of the Virgin Mary with Little Jesus. The spouses Bohdalova, the current owners of the mansion, made a replica of the original statue and just 12 September 2025, before the Feast of the Seven -Sorrowed Virgin Mary, the patron saint of Slovakia, the sculpture will be unveiled. You can be a part of it!
The ceremonial revelation and sanctification of the statue will be in cooperation with the local parish. Subsequently, the ceremony will continue in the chapel in the form of a liter-music zone. In addition to the lubosive tones of the violin, you will also learn some of the life of Joseph Zichy and the history of the chapel. Do not forget to invite ladies named Mary!
