At the invitation of the MCC Highlands, Gábor Rakonczay, an extreme athlete, twice Guinness World records and multiple Hungarian records, will visit Rimaszombat.

What makes a man to overcome the ocean? How can I tolerate isolation in an environment that is trying?
Gábor Rakonczay, the only one in the world, rowed the Atlantic with canoe. However, his performance is not exhausted: he has previously proved his perseverance as an ultra-run world champion, but has also crossed Greenland's ice sheet and reached the South Pole in a 44-day expedition. From the beginning of his athlete career, he has pushed the boundaries of human perseverance. In his lecture, he shows through his personal experiences what superhuman thinking can give purposeful thinking.
