THE LAST SMILE - Ady és Ady
première of a comedy-bús musical play using the works of Endre Ady
The purpose of the new Hungarian musical piece is to get to know the personality of the poetic genius in an entertaining way, with the main stages of his life. Two downtrodden homeless people are trying to survive the rest of their days in an underpass. They hide the truth by bickering: they need each other. (after all, this is how Ady is complete, his poems are the consequences of these contradictions).
Their argument, Ady's battle with himself. They must go up from the underpass together, on the stairs symbolizing Heaven, but they can only do this if they start together; if they come to terms with each other, that is, with themselves. Wry humor, music, two characters, two characters, one soul, one legend!
On the occasion of the 147th anniversary of the birth of Endre Ady.
