About event
🚼 We do not want parents to leave their children at home when they want to go to the cinema. Baby-friendly is a special cycle of the morning performances, when your baby, even in the carriage, can be taken with you to the cinema and enjoy a "adult" feature film that you are not driving in the evening. After the cinema you can move freely and focus on both children and the film. No one will look at you ugly if your child is irritating or you have to repack it acutely. Dimmed lights and sound ensure that this time in the cinema will be enjoyed by children as well as you. 3. 10:00 🧳 Real pain
(dir. Jesse Eisenberg, Poland/USA, 2024, 90 min.) David, a restrained and pragmatic father and husband, contrasts sharply with Benji, free -thinking and eccentric wanderers. Their personalities meet when Benji criticizes David for losing his former passion and spontaneity, while David is fighting Benji's unfiltered explosions and a lack of life direction. The couple travels as part of the Holocaust tourist group, led by James, a knowledgeable but extinct British guide. The dynamics of cousins are exposed during the journey, from a missed train stop to confrontation in the Old Jewish cemetery, where Benji criticizes the lack of emotional authenticity of the show and question its focus on facts and statistics, which David brings. Nevertheless, Benji is connected with members of the group who impresses his emotional sincerity. In the main roles we can see Jesse Eisenberg himself, who is greatly seconded by Kieran Culkin. Other tasks will feature Will Sharpe, Jennifer Gray, Kurt Egyiawan, Liza Sadov, Daniel Oreskes.
