About event
Discover how Fazıl Say even makes the oldest pieces of fresh and innovative sound on April 24, 2026 in the Muziekgebouw.
If a pianist, composer and improvisator Fazıl Say is behind the wing, it doesn't matter if music is new or age -old; Each piece sounds like it was only composed yesterday, or is even conceived on the spot. Even a three hundred years old piece like Bachs Goldberg variations - without repetitions - sound like new when Say plays with it.
Program:
Johann Sebastian Bach Goldberg variations
And own works by Fazıl Say (to be determined)
