BAJ OKO

I DON'T BELIEVE IN MIRACLES
I DON'T BELIEVE IN TRUTH
I DON'T BELIEVE THAT ANYTHING
CAN RECREATE YOUR YOUTH

Live cinema and dead performance. Resuscitation of a long dead past. A video probe into the bowels of the archive and variations on the theme of still throbbing pain. The autopsy of youth and the fear of old age. Radical exhumation. To the core. To the point. With what was under the surface to the light of God!

Baj oko: A cycle of live audiovisual events on the border between live-cinema and performance. The concept was curated by Marie and Petr Šprincl, in collaboration with the D'epog collective - an artistic duo that works under the Flesh&Brain label and works on experimental film (the trilogy Morava, sáka zem, Vienna Calling, Blue Box, Čapatý Ján and others). The format works with the principles of chance, unrepeatability and radical expressiveness, thus loosely following the dramaturgical series of so-called curated reality.
