About event
💘 The immortal story of love that passes through the centuries comes to life on the stage of the SND Ballet in the form of an impressive ballet epic.
🧑❤️💋👩 The young and pure love of Romeo and Juliet resists the hostility of their families and the adversity of fate.
🤺 Shakespeare's verses, permeated with feeling and passion, are transformed into movement - words are transformed into a dance that in tender and precise choreography tells a timeless story of love.
🎶 The strong emotional depth of the production is underlined by the music of Sergei Prokofiev, one of the most breathtaking ballet opuses of the 20th century.
🩰 The choreography was created by Nina Poláková and Jakob Feyferlik, the artistic side was taken care of by Jordi Roig, whose gilded arcades and beautiful costumes transport the audience to the Renaissance Verona.
✨ We cordially invite you to the premiere of the ballet Romeo and Juliet - a story about love that transcends time.
