🐐🐐 MALALATA (SK)
They have been active on the music scene since 2007 and have become synonymous with a unique fusion of Balkan beats, gypsy music, reggae and world music. A pair of Slovak DJs combine these rhythms into distinctive sets, which are complemented by an unbridled and contagiously energetic performance. Under their baton, clubs all over Europe and in distant Japan and Mexico pulsated. They danced at festivals like Sziget, Colors of Ostrava, Pohoda, Grape or Uprising and performed on the same stage with names like Parov Stelar, Goran Bregović, Shantel, Mahala Rai Banda or Fanfare Ciocarlia.
SPERY (GR)
DJ and producer who is a pioneer of Balkan music in her native country, Greece. It combines the traditional melodies of the Balkan brass bands with the beats of the current electro world scene. Since 2010, she is the founder of the Balkan Extravaganza Show and performs in bars, clubs and international festivals in Europe and beyond.
