Ballroom

Day "no mood", day "I want to sleep", day "I don't want anything", day "I'll do it another time", day "I can't", day "where is the sun?".

Somewhere, someone has the task of putting the same balls in the same box over and over again. Day after day, year after year - and nobody really knows exactly why. Hoping that the walls don't collapse on him, that someone starts throwing balls at them. And so the balls fly across space - sometimes elegantly and with deceptive lightness, other times powerfully and complexly. When everything goes well, they land right in the box.

In the Ballroom show, you sit in a converted truck. The artist Lodewijk Heylen designed a concrete stage for this unusual interior, in which the juggler Stijn Grupping – thanks to a lot of training and a little magic – performs an incredible dance of bouncing balls. Accompanied by the music of Jochem Baelus and Frederik Meulyzer, it will take you on an extraordinary journey without words
