Banskobystrická plavecká 24-hodinovka

The traditional Banskobystrica 24-hour swimming race, which is already in its 27th year, will start at Štiavničky on Monday, December 29. The last sports event of the year will open at 12:00 p.m. Mayor Ján Nosko. 🏊🏼 Visitors will be able to use the 1.5-hour entrance free of charge, and every participant who swims 100 meters for health will receive a diploma with a gift. ✅

This year's event will also be associated with attempts at several records! ☝🏼

He holds several Slovak records in freediving pool disciplines. In 2025, he achieved national records in the discipline of dynamic apnea without fins, with a performance of 165 m, and in the discipline of dynamic apnea with a monofin, with a performance of 213 m at the AIDA World Championships in Wakayama, Japan. The national record in the discipline of dynamic apnea with fins in the value of 207 m was created at the nOxyCup race in Budapest.

👏🏼 During the night of December 29 to 30, 2025 (from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.), Filip Guzma will try to ensure continuous swimming. This ultra-runner will return to the pool where he learned to swim as an 18-year-old, to symbolically conquer a swimming "half marathon" with a length of 21.1 km.
