About event
Barbora Mountain
In a gentle, sophisticated component music of the songwriter/songwriter Barbara mountains, tiny details of the corners of everyday life combine in the intricate lyrical networks that reveal the author's peculiar view of the world. The unusual, masterful guitar guitar lines are combined with thoughtful arrangements, often inspired by the beginnings of the American country, but are not afraid of the influences of contemporary independent music, and some moments also refer to the artist's author's work in the WHYOHWHY group. Barbara upcomes the balance between minimalism and spectacular instrumentations without losing the ascent at any moment to lose his authentic sound and spell that the listener would in vain look in the music of anyone else.
https://barborahora.bandcamp.com/album/forgotten-garden-garden-gard-growth-part-part-one Cardo & Decumanus is a solo project of Václav's orcis (current guitar in the 50M emblem, cello in Paramount Styles, previously bass guitar in OR and wool, cello in Mava), in which he gets to a quieter position from the usual loud and former projects. The resulting collage of inspirations is to mention the classic Czech country and darker neofolley projects. The lyrics are organized around more intimate sensual statements, often with free association chains. The debut plate entitled Community was published on the independent Silver Rocket publishing house in March 2023 with a number of important hosts and guests (Kalle, Tábor, Něco Něco, Oswald, whistle Czechs, but Vida and others). Live performances of the songs are built on a classic song combination of acoustic guitar, voice and accordion. Cardo & Decumanus played concerts in apartments, cafes, clubs, morgue, festivals, gardens and fire. On the initiation exit of the Czech Republic with a colleague from the band Woolen Tomáš Niesner, he followed a short concert series alongside the band Tábor in April 2024. It is currently completing the material for its second album. Cardo & Decumanus issued a lonely journey at the end of which it is possible to find the community, fragrance of the mountains and contours of the shallow breathing city. ” The rivers writes in the review: "This is really something beautiful that you are quite easy to fall, because perhaps it is not even possible to measure here."
