About event
Argo and Post Bellum cordially invite you to the ceremonial introduction of the book Ring of the wire - a short story about love according to the real stories of the nation's memory.
years or at the time of normalization? In twenty -four stories, love and breakups of real people come to life who have entrusted their stories of the nation's memory. They are full of fragile emotions and firm determination and defiance. Their backdrops are diverse: a glitter for teenagers, Terezín ghetto, farm affected by collectivization, underground club, but also West Berlin or Vietnamese jungle. But all of them are connected by the timeless hope and the desire that persists, whether the lover divides the barbed wire, the prison wall or the iron curtain.
