About event
How do children or handicapped people perceive public space? Come and see it and try it out in the European Mobility Week in Martin. During September 18, 2025, the Metro Civic Association has prepared two activities for you.
How do children perceive public space? The activity is designed especially for adults, who are waiting for fun and instructive experience. The volunteers of the association will move along the pedestrian zone in Martin, so do not hesitate to stop and reach. The meeting will be led by Vladimir EZR, expert in the field of transport and architectural barriers. This will be followed by off -road activity around the pedestrian zone, where we will imagine examples of good practice, go through the surroundings and point out the shortcomings that the public can encounter within the pedestrian zone, sidewalks or intersections.
