Baroš Simpson Wyleżoł Trio

An exceptional meeting of three personalities of contemporary jazz on one stage.

Drummer Jesse Simpson from New York, currently working in Prague, and double bassist Tomáš Baroš, one of the most prominent figures of the Czech jazz scene, joined forces in a project that combines American energy with European sensibility. As a special guest, they invited top Polish pianist and composer Piotr Wyleżoł from Krakow, one of the most respected voices of his generation. Wyleżoł is known for his unique melody, lyricism and compositional depth, while Simpson brings experience from the New York scene and working with the world's leading musicians. Baroš's double bass connects both worlds with a solid, sensitive and virtuosic foundation. Together they create music that is alive, communicative and full of momentary interaction. This concert offers an authentic jazz dialogue.
