Baxter Dury + support: mmnk

When the eighth record is the best: Baxter Dury will organize a veteran party in Prague.

There is no place for nostalgia here. British musician Baxter Dury has accomplished a lot since his twenty-four-year-old debut, but last year's album Allbarone really stirred things up. On it, Dury shows himself not only as a casually elegant lyricist and singer, but also as an artist who is not afraid to go wild. Now he will present his trip to Allbarone in Prague as well. Joy not only for all fans of Fat White Family or Sleaford Mods.

Baxter Dury will perform at the Roxy club on June 8, 2026.

"I'm not an expert in anything except myself," says Dury in a recent interview with Jakub Peřina and continues about his lyrics: "You won't learn anything about me from them - don't count on that. I create fictional characters that steal my they have their own stories and they play them out differently than I do." And they are stories told with extraordinary freshness and a decent dose of rawness.

New paths were shown to him by producer Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence + The Machine, Glass Animals), who approached Dury after his captivating performance at Glastonbury. "He doesn't really care what you think. He wants [the music you make together] to be fantastic, otherwise it ends up in the trash," Dury recalls of the intense collaboration that has resulted in the strongest entry of his already impressive discography.

A modern-day Serge Gainsbourg? Why not.
