You have made a choice. You met Jesus, and your life has never been the same. But while your heart has changed, sometimes those around you remain silent. Your friends don't understand, your conversations feel different – ​​and sometimes you feel alone. This event is for people who recognize themselves in this process after their conversion. How do you share your faith without imposing it? And how do you deal with the desire for new, faith-oriented friendships?

In the second part of the meeting we zoom in on how conversion also changes your love life. Because when you change, what you are looking for also changes – in love, in relationships, in connection. But how do you deal with that? What if you don't find anyone who shares your faith? Or if you are already in a relationship, but only you have converted? We want to discuss this together, share stories and encourage each other. Because you are not alone in your search - and together we will move forward.

Emke de Jager is the author of the Zijlachts guide witnesses. She learned to share her faith through trial and error in the Bible booth at consumer fairs. She is married, mother of three and lives with her family in the Achterhoek as managers of the Christian camp site 'de Oase'. organized by Reality Check – a community for young adults who want to live according to Christian norms and values.
