We cordially invite you to open the Beauty and the Beast exhibition, which will take place on Wednesday 26 March at 18:00. The exhibition will present the works of three distinctive Czech artists - Šárka Koudelová, Magdalena Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi Mi Mira and Dana Sahánková. Currently guests three distinctive Czech artists long -term linked to fairy tales, which formally associate the mythological metamorphosis of the human figure, whether for natural material or flora and fauna. Together, the authors create a dark forest and a magical castle in the gallery area and leaves traces of beauty and animals, although it was not the intention to tell the story literally.
The fairy tale beauty and animal is presented in the gallery as an archetype. He is 4000 years old and knows it all over the world. In addition, its motives usually mirror the Greek myth of Erós and the picse, which leaves the area of the staff and, on the contrary, becomes an allegory of the human soul and its miserable way to lost love, or perfection even at the price of great victims. According to the curator Jan Čejka "Today the fairy tale is nothing minor than the arbiter between good and evil, whose judgment will understand even a small child". For example, it examines whether a person is really better than an animal. What can be illustrated by imagination. Looking for an inner child in an adult. And he is demanding on the state of the world determined by future generations.

Šárka Koudelová (*1987) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in Prague - 2016. Jiří Petrbok (2012 - 14) and Vladimír Skrepl (2014 - 16). She also completed an internship at Erwin Richcha at the Academy in Vienna (2015) and a residence in Egon Schiele Art Center in Český Krumlov (2016). He is one of the established artists. They are known eg. Exhibitions of Anthroporary in the Trnava Gallery of Ján Koniark (2020) or Něžná in Karlin Studios (2021 - 22). In the renowned Kodl auction hall, it is one of the current authors with a successful and rich auction history. She is a finalist of the Criticism Award for Young Painting (2015). In addition to his own work, he also focuses on curatorial activities, especially for studio powers. More recently with her husband Ondřej Basjuk, she led Prague K.art.on Gallery (2012 - 15). Šalounov's studio of the visiting pedagogue AVU (2010) and at Kryštof Kinter at UMPRUM (2011). He is one of the leading contemporary sculptors on the Czech art scene. From the exhibition, let's mention eg. Beauty and Půvab in the Liberec Regional Gallery (2019) or the History should be ordered as Příběh in the Kroměřížská Gallery of the Hell Sáně (2024). She is a co -founder of the Studio Party Association. There is also a few public installations, such as a memorial to the victims of communism in Boskovice, Plastika Delichorn in Selbe, Germany or Busta Milada Horáková for the Regional Office of the Pilsen Region.
Dana Sahánková (*1984) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under the leadership of Jitka Svobodová (2005 - 11) with Intermezzo in the studio of Veronika Bromová (2009) and an internship at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Dijon, France (2008). It is one of the current key representatives of the media drawing. Her works are represented in the collections of the Central Bohemian Region Gallery (GASK) in Kutná Hora, the Gallery of Modern Art in Hradec Kralove and the East Bohemian Gallery in Pardubice (VCG) and Klatová / Klenová Gallery. The exhibitions can be mentioned eg. Dragon SE Probouszi in the National Gallery of Prague (2014), in Slupce you will never find stood in the Prague Trafo Gallery (2019) or the recent exhibition of States of UNCERTAIN DOMESTICITIES in Berlin Haus Kunst Mitte (2025).
