About event
Have you ever watched people dance tango and thought, “I wish I could do that” — but weren’t sure where to start?
This 6-week Beginner Argentine Tango series is designed for absolute beginners who want to learn tango in a welcoming, supportive, and fun environment. No experience required, no partner needed — just curiosity and a willingness to move.
Tango is more than steps. It’s connection, musicality, confidence, and communication — all learned through walking, embracing, and moving together. In this series, we’ll break tango down into clear, approachable fundamentals so you can feel comfortable, capable, and confident on the dance floor.
What you’ll learn:
• Tango posture, walking, and balance
• How to lead or follow clearly (you choose your role)
• Connection and musicality
• Simple turns and classic tango movements
• How tango works socially, so you can dance anywhere
Each class builds on the previous one, giving you time to absorb, practice, and truly understand the dance — not just memorize steps.
About the instructors:
Adam Cornett & Marina Godinez are experienced tango teachers known for making tango feel human, musical, and attainable. Their teaching focuses on clarity, connection, and helping students actually enjoy dancing — even from day one.
