Bereza & Kotlar Project is an international jazz ensemble, founded by guitarist Pavol Bereza and pianist ľudovít Kotlár. The band focuses on their own compositions that combine elements of Scandinavian jazz, Slovak and Hungarian folk music and jazz tradition. The musical expression of the project is characterized by poetry, dynamics and contrasts, whereby each concert offers a new interpretation and improvisational freedom. The members of the ensemble are nationally and internationally active and work with leading musicians.

12th Eunic My Unique Jazz Festival from September 30 to October 5, 2025 in the Kunstfabrik Schlot
For the twelfth time, the wealth of European jazz with its different roots, dialects and new developments is presented. In addition to the 31 wonderful musicians from 13 European countries, 11 European cultural institutions and messages from the community of European Cultural Institutes Eunic Berlin are organizing the festival this year. Each single band presents its own compositions and interprets known pieces from their respective country new or in free improvisation. In addition, the artists will also combine their musical origin in a new way when musicians from different cultures meet directly every evening.
