About event
Özcan Cosar is back - with "VIP"!
On tour nationwide from 2026 / Previews autumn 2025
Özcan Cosar is on a big tour in 2026 with his new show: "VIP" - comedy that entertains and resonates. Here he explores the question: “Who is actually important here?!” In “VIP” Özcan takes a humorous and sharp-tongued account of the absurd VIP cult. Everyone's favorite Swabian shows who is really important. The people who are never in the spotlight.
“VIP” stands for a life in the spotlight: exclusive parties, first class flights, bodyguards at the breakfast buffet – at least in the imagination of many. Özcan Cosar knows better. With “VIP,” Özcan humorously dismantles the concept of “Very Important Person.” VIP: “Very Irritating Celebrity”. As a comedian, he has been performing on the country's biggest stages for years, but in his new show he shows that behind the facade of flashlights and applause, things often look pretty normal - or pretty absurd.
Who actually decides who is important? And why do some people act like they are when they simply aren't? At the same time, he draws attention to the real stars of everyday life - people who never appear on red carpets, but who form the foundation of our coexistence: educators, geriatric nurses, parents, parcel carriers, emergency doctors - real heroes in the shadow of the selfie spotlights. Of course, Özcan remains Özcan: intelligent, ironic, charming and with his unmistakable mix of comedy, acting and dance on stage. “VIP” - stand-up with heart, wit and attitude.
Tickets are available in the exclusive presale at www.cosar.tv and from May 26th, 2025, 12 p.m., at all known ticket offices.
