About event
Philipp Fleiter is going on tour again next year with his successful podcast “Crime from Next Door”. For five years now, Philipp Fleiter has been one of the most successful podcasters in Germany with “Crime from Next Door”. His true crime format records several million views every month and Fleiter's first live tour in 2021 was almost completely sold out. After 50 appearances in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Philipp Fleiter is now announcing new live dates: The Ear Witness Tour 2024.
"The tour is a gift for my fans," explains the podcaster, "that's why I named it after them - the Ear Witness Tour." On stage, Fleiter talks about an exciting real criminal case in which the audience gets the feeling of being involved in the investigation themselves. Fleiter says: "Interaction with the people in front of the stage is incredibly important to me. I don't just want to read out a case, I want to involve my fans in the show and have a great evening with them despite the topic of crime."
Philipp Fleiter was born in East Westphalia and, as a child, what he wanted most was "Wetten, that...?" moderate. Instead, he studied education and psychology and, after graduating, worked as a radio journalist and presenter. In 2019 he started the podcast “Crime from Next Door”, which quickly became one of the most successful German podcasts. Fleiter hosted his own television adaptation of his format on SKY. His books, published in 2021 and 2023, both landed on the SPIEGEL bestseller list immediately after their publication. As a crime expert, Philipp Fleiter is a welcome guest on TV and other podcasts. He lives in Gütersloh.
