Die Collection "Berlinka" (from Berlin) in the Jagiellone Library in Krakow comprises approximately 300,000 volumes with valuable manuscripts, codices, books, discounts and autographs. During World War II, they were outsourced for fear of loss and damage from the Berlin State Library and hidden in monasteries and castles. After the war and the new border agreements, however, some of these places were suddenly in the Polish field and were transferred to the library in Krakow.
For the concert, the music manuscripts of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance focus on the focus. In addition to anonymous chants of Gregorianik and from the Glogau song book from 1470, compositions of the Renaissance of Heinrich Isaac, Johann Walter and Melchior Franck.
