About event
Bernardo Couto and Martin Sued
Historical Meeting between two emblematic instruments of Portuguese and Argentine popular musical culture. Two musicians who dedicated their lives to popular music, instrumental music and traditional culture. Bernardo Couto on the Portuguese guitar has also touched and plays with names like Antonio Zambujo, Cristina Branco, Ana Moura, Lisbon String Trio, Kyao, having made concerts all over the world, from the United States to Japan. Illermo Klein, Kique Sinesi, Seamus Blake, Diego Schissi, Silvia Irrio, Yamandu Costa among others. Two instruments that incorporate the soul of two peoples and two cultures that, after all, have many more things to turn them on than to separate. The music that comes from these two countries is intense, very melodic, is the mirror of the soul of these two cultures. And so the proposal could not be more appealing and stimulating for those on the public side.
How will this merger result? What sounds and emotions will we feel? Are fado and tango effectively sister songs from each other? Através de dois instrumentistas experientes e consagrados, a resposta a estas perguntas estará à distância de uma audição, de um auditório.
