Literary-historical and art competitions for primary and secondary school pupils, this year's theme is Grandmother and My. Its aim is to contribute to a deeper historical awareness of the young generation, motivate it to discover personal and cultural identity and through the legacy of folk culture to show the context between past and present, between Czech and European culture. Moderated Beseda
Brno has been and is the intersection where they meet, recognize and enrich various nations, ethnicities and today also national minorities. It will introduce representatives of the majority society and selected national minorities whose activities prove how beneficial and needy may be a seemingly ordinary individual regardless of its membership of age, gendaria, social or national group.
