21. July organizes UM at the Evald Beseda cinema in the form of a moderated discussion, where Michelin chef Jan Hartwig will share his cooking story and access to raw materials, seasonality and cooking, but also experience in running his own business and team management. He has in common German cuisine with our Czech. The whole program will be kept in German with interpreting into Czech.
about John Jan Hartwig pays for genius and rightly for one of the best chefs of Europe. He collected his knowledge, for example, in the Berlin restaurant Pomp Duck and Circumstance, Christian Jürgense's kitchen at Kastell, Michelin, Gästehaus Erfort or in the Aqua three -star restaurant. Since May 2014 he worked as a chef of the restaurant Atelier and Garden at the Munich Hotel Bayerischer Hof. A year after his arrival, the studio won two stars, in 2017 Jan Hartwig reached the third Michelin star. In 2022 he decided to become independent and opened his own business Jan, who received three Michelin stars within a few months. He interprets not only DNA German cuisine on the menu, but above all himself.
