Beseda s novinářem Tomášem Etzlerem - DIVADLO NA MANINÁCH

Tomáš Etzler (* 1963) is a journalist, producer and author. He began working for CNN in 1999 as a news editor, then spent five years as CNN's war correspondent in Haiti, Iraq and Afghanistan, among other places. He spent seven years as a permanent correspondent for Czech Television in China. He received a number of awards for his work, including the Emmy Award, which he was the first Czech to receive. In 2019, a book of his interviews "Kdo ví kde budu zítra" was published, conducted with him by Jindřich Šídlo. In the summer of 2021, his feature-length documentary film "Heaven" about an orphanage in the Chinese countryside was released.

In the autumn of the same year, his first film "Journalist in China. What on earth have I done?", which became the best-selling title of the Vyšehrad publishing house that year. In the autumn of last year, her second volume was published - "Journalist in China 2. Don't Go Crazy!" Tomáš Etzler is currently lecturing and writing another book. Among others in the United States.
