The former police colonel's new detective story records the story of a person who almost became a victim of a hit man. During the search for the perpetrators, the law enforcement officers come across a former prisoner who is supposed to take the life of one of the investigators. He decides to cooperate, but another potential killer could have received the order, and no one knows when the messenger of death will arrive. The police elites, who have not yet said the last word, also play an important role.
The book is again peppered with Petr Šloser's personal experiences from the investigation and knowledge of the Slovak organized crime environment. It will allow a person to look into the real investigation procedures and into the premises and conditions of the Slovak prison.
