Evolution
We have replaced
those who are capable of everything
for those who are capable of nothing.
(excerpt from the book)
The publisher Koloman Kertész Bagala regularly invites authors whose works have been published by his publishing house to Čitárna for literary talks. Tomáš Ulej, a man of many talents, writer, journalist, humorist, great storyteller and observer of life, will come to the December talk in Čitárn. "Sometimes people think when I create in the first person that you're very sad and so on, but it's very often just a stylization that I saw something in someone else. Aphorisms do not reflect my life, but my vision of the world." (Tomáš Ulej)
In December, he publishes his fourth book of aphorisms and epigrams Write again! with illustrations by Ivana Šáteková and will present it in the Contemporary Literature Reading Room on Tuesday evening. "Tomáš Ulej succeeded in significantly enriching the current form of the Slovak epigram and aphorism, not only by reflecting today's digital culture, but also achieving its aesthetic value in brevity and insularity." (M. Kekeliaková)
