The straightforward tone is neither too heavy nor too light - but it can deflect on both sides. - Kevin Whitehead, NPR (About the Album Liberty) - J. Hunter, Nippertown
Dayna Stephens is one of the most interesting saxophonists of the current jazz scene. He worked with the world elite like Brad Mehldau, Billy Hart, Kenny Barron, Al Foster, Julian Lage and many others. His concert albums right now! Live at the Village Vanguard and Liberty was created with elite musicians such as Aaron Parks, Ben Street, Greg Hutchinson and Eric Harland, under the producer supervision of Grammy Matt Pierson. Both recordings were released on his own label Contagious Music.
Prague has a unique opportunity to experience this exceptional saxophone voice live.
