Focus on those affected - experiences and strategies for dealing with hate on the Internet

Hate on the Internet is a threat that is becoming more and more present in the digital world and has real consequences for those affected. But what does it feel like to be the target of online hate? Which strategies help you defend yourself and protect your own mental health?

In our event "Affected people in focus - experiences in dealing with hate on the internet" we focus on the people who have personally experienced these attacks. We offer a platform for direct exchange and create awareness of the profound effects of digitalized violence.

· Personal insights: Those affected share their experiences and describe how they have experienced hate online and what ways they have found to deal with it.
· Practical strategies: You will find out first-hand which strategies really help - from reporting the content to legal prosecution to mental self-care techniques and support from allies.

This event is aimed at everyone who wants to take an active position against hate on the internet, be it as those affected, relatives, educational professionals or as committed citizens.
Be there with us and set an example for more empathy and civil courage in the digital space.

The event will take place on Zoom in spoken German with sign translation.
