Already the 14th year of the midnight running toast on the calvary for everyone!
We will meet before midnight at Námestí SNP in BB and together we will run to the calvary, where we will wish each other Happy and Merry with sparklers and a toast...
In the times of ancient civilizations, people lived in harmony with the surrounding environment. Understanding, respect and efficiency were the result of direct contact with nature. The main means of transport were one's own legs and running as the most natural form of movement. In this reality, the mythical Mayan civilization grew up.
The vast territory and difficult terrain were a daily challenge for runners ensuring the flow of information necessary for the functioning of society.
The Mayans knew when their calendar began and calculated when it would end. And it was supposed to happen on December 21, 2012! The end of the world as we know it was supposed to happen on this day...
... However, it didn't happen and we started the tradition of the midnight run on this very day.
