A conversation with the Dutch author of the book Bibi Schreuder about how to understand children and be a better parent for them.
Being a parent is one of the most demanding and at the same time the most beautiful tasks in life. But how not to get lost in the multitude of approaches to education and find a way that will strengthen you and your children? The book SO CHILDREN CAN BE CHILDREN by the renowned Dutch author Bibi Schreuder brings a fresh, systemic view of parenting that can be your inspiration.
You will learn what a systemic approach is, there will be answers to your questions and an autograph session books. Come and get new perspectives and inspiration that will help you create authentic relationships with your children.
The talk will be held in English and will be interpreted into Slovak.
In cooperation with the Institute of Systemic Work and Constellations in Slovakia.
About the book SO CHILDREN CAN BE CHILDREN:
This book deals with children and adults and their place in the hierarchy for the family to function harmoniously. Adults sometimes unconsciously remain internally in the position of a child. Children cannot help themselves then and have to react to it. Sometimes, for example, they are rude, which we perceive as inappropriate, or from our point of view, they behave particularly accommodating - for example, they are very caring, and in such cases, in the end, nobody has a good time. Only when everyone occupies their own place can all adults and all children live fully.
The book contains many exercises that you can do anywhere and do when it suits you. You do not need to attend a constellation seminar or workshop. All you have to do is try the exercises that the author offers you. Even if you do not do any of the offered exercises, Bibi Schreuder will guide you step by step through the most basic topics related to children.
BIBI SCHREUDER
Co-founder and long-time trainer of the Bert Hellinger Institute in the Netherlands . She is one of the first to bring and develop work with systemic constellations in the Netherlands. With her stubborn attitude "first to see, then to believe" already during practice she enabled many parents, teachers, child therapists and other workers with children to access their own systemic perception.
