About event
The activities provided in the Library of Learning, intended for minors between 8 and 16 years and dedicated to the programming of robots, toys and interactive games, use the tinkering process to allow a expansion of knowledge. Tinkering is what happens when trying to do something guided by curiosity and imagination without knowing well how to do it. There are no instructions, there is no right or wrong way to do things, but there is no flaws either. Tinkering is, in its most basic form, a process that marries the game with the question. be consulted here: https://www.goethe.de/ins/en/ver.cfm?event_id=25971395

The Goethe-Institut Library, held in collaboration with Mill-Makers in Little Lisbon, is inscribed in the tradition of the library of Things, which was born during the great depression of the twentieth century, when they were open library toys in the United States. The first Library of Things, a tool library, still open today, emerged in Grosso Pointe Farms, Michigan, in 1943, with the aim of offering training to young people in this region.
